ladydarlene1221Power Lifting with A PurposeJust Wow, excellent episode!
-
BP WriterFantastic podcast, good contentRecently found this podcast and really enjoy it! The conversation with Dr. Darren Candow about creatine was fascinating. What really resonated with me was how little I knew about the benefits of creatine for women and the amazing benefits it can have on bone, mood, memory, and more. Thank you!

54andstrongStay StrongSteph, do so enjoy and appreciate your podcast. As a woman of 54 and staring down Menopause 💪🏼, I love your advice. Strength training has been a part of my life for 30 years and it’s never been as important as this phase of life. I am an information addict and am always open to help! Keep it up and thank you for the message to us ladies!

MbrohmsCoincidence? I think NOT.I love this podcast! I started listening 4 weeks ago. I am now on my 4th week of seriously upping my game in both RPE and consistency in my workouts. I’ve lifted on and off for 35 years, but this podcast really reinforces many of the reasons I started weight training many years ago. Thank you, Steph! You helped me to get psyched again about training. 💪🤩

Kirsten (K-Chatt)So helpful!Great information and encouragement! Steph is a delight to listen to and this podcast so so helpful.
-
FloridaMusingsAwesome contentI so love her down to earth presentation and great information. I love that the information is geared towards the over 40 female group. Though I’ve left that group and moving towards the 60 group, her info is spot on and I wish I had this resource when I was 40….I think she was ultra biking at that point! 😂😂 Ladies do yourself a favor and listen up and lift! Men, listen in if you want to support your woman!

what nuckname can i use?Solid, fact-based fitness and nutrition information. After buying one of her books for my fitness journey, then getting my exercise nutrition certification, I began to look for more and more facts, strategies, and resources. Although I am fairly new to the podcast, I love the fact that I can listen to and from work. This is solid info, based on years of experience and research. I wonder about one thing, though. Could you say it is for the 40 plus crowd, instead of 40 something? I am 50+ cross-fitter and listen weekly. I realize that I am in the invisible age group by how people treat me lately and it’s frustrating. Fitness is forever! It’s just a small change in wording… Thanks for considering.
-
AKprincesswarriorThank you!Really enjoying your podcast as I just started a home gym and didn’t really know what to prioritize. I have been loving your information and inspiration to help me get STRONG 💪🏼Thank you! Keep being awesome!

chlowdowgMost recent guest….Love the pod overall for everything steph stands for and it’s one of the most body positive I’ve come across- but boy did the most recent guest Shawna Norton has some serious unexamined internalized (and externalized) misogyny….”person first woman second”??? I was shocked when she seemed to have no problem with this statement ….And “I’m not like most women who have to be encouraged to add weight to the bar-I’m like a guy in that way.” Most of the eps of this show are great because they break down stereotypes of what it means to be a woman in fitness. Not in spite of your sex but because of it. Women are strong. Women can lift. Women can want to lift. You are not “like a man” because you want to lift and be strong. You are a strong woman who wants to be strong. These sentiments above send the opposite message essentially saying “I’m not like other weak women I’m like a guy. Women don’t want to do these things men do.” Its misdirected hate to herself and other women and its frankly sad. Again love the pod itself but I hope Shawna can one day unpack some of these harmful ideas both for herself and those she coaches and influences. Very behind the times.

im a betty!Gave me the confidence to start liftingLoved the podcast so much I bought her program and it’s amazing. More so that I’m sticking with it so it says something about the amount of knowledge and experience she shares in this podcast to make a novice feel ready to take on such an endeavor. She’s the real deal and brings much needed messages for those of us that need resistance training in terms of proper fueling and mindset.
-
rockledge zenGreat Podcast - Relevant for the TimesSteph was a guest on another podcast I listen to and found her message and mission both inspiring and accessible. I decided to subscribe to her podcast as well. I am a “lapsed” weight lifter and just listening to a couple of episodes so far has motivated me to pick up the weights again. So grateful to have found Steph and her podcast!
-
Cristy MurrayMust listen to for women!Weight lifting can be intimidating for some women. It also has to be performed safely and correctly in order to get the desired effect. Steph breaks everything down to understandable concepts.
-
MTim3Love this podcast!I recently found my way to this podcast and all I can say is Wow! This is exactly what I have been looking for. There is so much to dive into, nutrition, strength training, lifting heavy and so much more, it’s all so good but what makes it great is the emphasis on loving ourselves and our bodies. So positive and uplifting. I love it! Thank you for this!
-
Dr Maria LuqueI always learn new thingsSteph is incredibly knowledgeable and knows how to break down difficult concepts in easy-to -understand ways. reimagine fitness trainer100% recommend!!I’ve been following Steph for a long time and only this past year started listening to her podcast. I love it so much, I’m always learning and having so many “a-ha!!” moments. I’m really enjoying going through all the podcasts I missed and totally anticipate each new one. Thank you Steph for all that you do!

SimonelovesfitnessSteph is a amazing!I don’t even remember how I came to know Steph and her work. However I’m so glad I did. Given that I’ve not personally been a victim of the diet culture I never truly understood the damage it caused until I became a coach. Following Steph’s work has been a great addition to the quality of my work. Her podcasts are so easy to listen to. I might be bias cuz I really love her voice. I really love all the info she provides and constantly share it with my clients are navigating out of the diet culture. Give it a go, you wont regret it!

Steph PrangleyReal, authentic, and balancedEvery episode challenges me in a different way. The evolution of Steph’s focus has aligned closely with mine, which is more about Intuitive Eating, body positivity, and just *being*. Being confident in your skin and how to pursue health with a truly holistic approach - physical, emotional, and mental. No more dogma. No more restriction. Just real talk and real results. So appreciative of having Steph’s voice in my ear each week. Keep it up 💪🏼❤️

Lorrieb5256Steph Gaudreau: Listen To Your BodySteph breaks down issues I have struggled with into down to earth, easy to understand principles. -
Jolanta De La RosaEpisode #239I am so very thankful I can across this podcast and this episode. I am in my mid 40’s and am in the midst of all the symptoms that no one seems to be to talk about. Thank you. Love this. I will listen to all other episodes.
-
FOL0921My go-toSteph is my go-to for real talk about self-improvement.
-
JakeAThompsonStraight Talk that InspiresSteph brings an authentic touch and no BS angle to conversations about health, mindset, and life. Her voice is a breath of fresh air in a space full of fake success stories. Investing time in this show each week is investing in your own growth - and worth every second.
-
stephg821Could not love her more! She speaks truth!!I’ve had a body image disorder since I was 12 and major issues with diet and food for a long time. I started counting macros two years ago, it quickly spiraled out of control for me and landed me in therapy. Steph nails it on the head with her Messy thoughts on food episodes. They literally had me crying happy tears that I’m not the only one dealing with all this crazy stuff! I’m like her, not obese, probably look normal to most people, but am incredibly hard on myself and have had to learn a lot about giving myself grace. I love her podcasts they share such raw truth! Thank you for your honesty girl! Keep it coming!❤️❤️❤️
-
DtabbahI love how Straight forward Steph isHer Episode ‘ messy thoughts on food’ had my heart beat 1000 beats a second. I have been listening to health and nutrition podcasts for a few years now , I feel like I have changed a lot in how I approach food but lately i feel like I have been cornered and I honestly don’t know what to eat anymore ! I wake up open the fridge and just stare at what’s on the shelves and my mind is trying to categorize everything I see , “ nope that’s carbs, no that’s high in sugar , that’s dairy, that’s gluten..” It’s really miserable! These two episodes got me thinking of how bad my relationship with food has become and the worst part of it is , I’m not talking about highly processed I’m talking about natural nutritious food that the earth has given us. I’m looking forward to learning more from Steph and joining the nutritional therapy 101 program. Thank you Steph.
-
MaxSlater412Outstanding perspective on life and healthI love Steph’s perspective on how fitness and health should focus on self-love rather than achieving some impossible aesthetic standard. Steph provides an unvarnished, upbeat and unique paradigm that seems to be lacking in the world of fitness.
-
QuentiswallingtonSteph is a true role model...for women especially. She is so candid about the difficult parts of being a woman in today’s society, and so passionate about helping us all. I think she’s an amazing person, and listening to her podcasts always leave me feeling empowered :) I especially love the Fierce Love Friday sessions - I look forward to them every week!
-
ErikamommaAmazing pod for womenI’m a longtime podcast listener but new to this show. I think the health/nutrition/fitness industry struggles with providing great content. I find some pods to be great one week and the next eyerollingly not applicable to anyone. This is not the Case with Harder to Kill Radio. Steph’s honest voice is refreshing and relatable. She speaks to her listeners like they are a friend sitting across the table which creates a very engaging experience for the listener.
-
SSudzGreat PodcastA friend of mine (who does not listen to a lot of podcasts) recommended this podcast and Facebook page to me. They are both great! I highly recommend it.
-
PolishlangoThank you for being real, stephI can’t even remember how I came across Steph Gaudreau, but I’m so glad I did. This podcast has become a favorite on my frequent rotation. She’s intelligent, poses challenging thoughts and questions with poise, and has fantastic guests. The harder to kill community on Facebook has also become literally the only reason I go on Facebook. Thank you!
-

ScienceNerd@HeartThese 5 stars are so stinking cuteWho doesn’t love things that are so stinking cute?! Haha, I kid! Not an inside joke; inside knowledge from a long-time listener. This podcast has changed my life!! There have been so many episodes I’ve listened to and thought it could have been prefaced with “hey CS, this one’s for you.” This podcast is one of my absolute favorites: the guests, the content, the hostess, everything! I love it all. There is a powerful take-away message in every episode, and it always leaves me with so much insight and curiosity. And since I seriously think Steph could be my soul-sister, it makes even more enjoyable. ;) I hope listeners will let Steph’s messages resonate as strongly within them as they have with me.
-
cyn#cyn#cynI love this podcast!I've followed Steph for years with her Stupid Easy Paleo site and the Women's Strength Summit, and I've been a member of her Harder to Kill community on Facebook for ages. Her podcast episodes, both those with awesome guests and those with Steph alone on the mic, are always thought-provoking, inspiring, motivating, and really interesting. I look forward to each one, and often share particular favorites with my daughters. Highly recommend.
-
judyg5150Yeah !! What she said !!!!I don’t leave reviews In fact I had to look up how to leave one as its not so easy to find. Listened awhile to your podcast and am learning something new each time. You are a professional, intelligent teacher and have a big heart. Thank you Steph. Epi #170 was amazing. Well said !
-
jolenekaymREALThanks Steph for addressing a wide variety of topics in a down to earth way. The guests you bring on are informative and provide doable actions to improve yourself from the inside out.
-
VAMlk7Love the content and attitudeSteph's work has been so helpful to me in so many ways and this podcast is great. The only issue is that I don't want to listen to it with my kids around. I'd love to have my daughter hear the positive messages Steph delivers though. Keep up the amazing work. If you're willing, that small tweak would be a huge help for those of us who would like to listen without the language.
