LisaW9Really well doneI’ve seen the new documentary about Cosby. This captured many of the same interviews but was more personal. It was excellent. It’s a rough topic but one we must pay attention to.

Gennn6182Amazing!By far one of my favorite podcasts!
-
PlanForAwesomeWow!Wow. I don’t want to say I loved it because it was sickening, but this was an excellent podcast. Thank you so much for shedding light on such a twisted story. The research and presentation of this research was so powerful!!

Mia MinderRiveting seriesAlthough I’m shocked there hasn’t been an update yet post Cosby’s release!
-
Julie Ann S.Update Needed!I was so excited when I saw the Chasing Cosby podcast pop back up into my “Listen Now” section. Instead of a much needed update on the story since Cosby’s release, it’s an ad for another podcast. Heartbreaking. I’ve been so sad since I listened to the live show that gave us all a chance to get to know these brave fascinating women. I’ve been devastated that their efforts for justice were twarted by a technicality and I NEED to know why is being down about it. The silence is deafening!

Loridans1A Podcast ExposedBut for the (approx) 80 page decision by the Su Ct of Pennsylvania educated folks would be unaware of the misleading nature of this slick and well produced podcast. But that decision does exist. It is no defence of Mr. Cosby to state this podcast is disgraceful. It is clearly possible for Cosby to be a reprehensible human being and the DA/judge involved in prosecuting Bill Cosby to have conducted themselves improperly. As a matter of law Cosby should never have been tried and convicted, but this podcast completely fails to address the due process, etc., issues clearly and manifestly present in the prosecutions. The podcast also acts in a cowardly manner in its aversion to truly examining a situation where “everybody knew” about someone who was at best an immoral and deviant celebrity. Cowardly journalists and powerful folks willing to look the other way made Bill Cosby & so many others possible.

MusiclapseBackground musicIn some episodes, the music overpowers what is being said, which is making what is being said hard to hear....

listen n' learnWe asked to free Brittany and the best they said they could do was give us Bill…With Bill’s recent release and conviction overturn will you be revisiting with participants of this podcast? How does his release effect them? What does this means for our futures daughters and sexual violence?? Please this conversation going. continue to give women voices and the opportunity to be heard because now more then ever it feels like our cries fall on deaf ears.

livivnglifeBill CosbyI grew up watching bill Cosby but the Bible says he without sin cast the first stone haven’t stop watching this show and I’m not go stop I let my children watch it but at the end of the day I’m not the judge his name is Jesus over all of us

Fake News 2022222COMPLETELY HYPOCRITICALIt’s so interesting how you feel the need to attack black public figures and dedicate so much time into false accusations claiming equality, but you didn’t feel the need to attack Hugh hephner a womanizer and child rapist. Your podcast is disgusting. Get a life and leave black people out of it.

huenewNot ObjectiveOverwhelming evidence. Guilty. My God; how a person chooses to live their life! No one else to blame but the Criminal. I learned a lot. Only, one woman I did not believe. I had seen her interviewed and it appeared, to me, that she was trying hard, eyes moving around, clearly making it up. And her testimony, “He gave me a pill. A little round pill.” Cosby had laughed out loud in court because he evidently knew she was lying. And that it would do him no good. “I saw Cosby laughing at trial while I testified, and then again at his sentencing.” “I saw him look at me.” Janice Dickinson wrote.

texneckAt long last...the truth has come out.I really needed to hear this. The Cosby Show from the ‘80s was fine & all, but I spent most of my life completely enamored with his stand-up comedy routines. I listened to them over & over, & had memorized a lot of them. Now, I can finally be at peace with shunning all of that, & putting it away forever. Because it’s crystal clear to me now that his entire career was just a facade, & that the REAL Cosby is a monster...a horrible human being, who deserves the fate he received. I listened to the entire podcast over the course of a single afternoon, & it was a real eye-opener, in many ways. As a man, I have never had to face such things, & I feel like I’ve learned a lot this week. I truly hope Donald Trump is the NEXT “celebrity” to be torn down by the ME TOO movement.

elhokayAwesome! This is one of my favorite podcasts! The host is excellent!

Colleen DowneyPowerfulWhile these accounts are, at times, very difficult to hear it is so important to hear them. Thank you for giving these victims a platform to share their voices. Thank you to every woman who shared their story on the podcast as well as at the trial and anywhere else. To every woman who was or is a victim or rape or sexual assault but hasn’t shared their story, you are not alone. The podcast was great but like other reviewers said the adds were at times a bit misplaced, specifically the adds for alcohol. Thank you to all who shared.

frissjanThe Host Speaks Needs ImprovementsI really wanted to listen to this, but couldn’t bear the unnatural way in which the host narrates the story. She sounds like she’s READING it. Ugh. Couldn’t even make it through the entire 1st episode. Not everyone is meant to do podcasts!

Chastity RidemoreWhat’s happens next ...I grew up watching the Cosby show with my family and I could identify and relate to things that happened to or with the “Huxtable Children”. I remember wishing my parents were like that. It doesn’t surprise me that they didn’t take it to trial the first time around and I am glad that they got some vindication but not glad that more women had to go through this due to the lack of interest by the DA. Sadly, these women lost their innocence, virtues, job opportunities, and a life that could have been 100% better than what they had. I don’t just mean the job opportunities when I say that ... if they were never raped, they could have lived a happier and healthier life. Now, what happens next .... the answer, they are going to live the rest of their lives with this. Yes, he’s in jail, he has paid money to some but each of these women will continue living with what was forced upon them and the degradation that came along with the assault and rapes that each of them continues to live and think about each and every day of their lives. I know this, as all rape victims do, that there is not a day that goes by where the assault either tip toes through their minds or it completely side lines them at least once during the course of their everyday lives. I hope each and everyone of the victims can feel just a little better knowing that they have prevented another girl from being raped by this man and that they have changed laws, minds, and slowly trying to change the way the system sees rape victims. Thank you for that. I am a sister among you. ❤️

Jrenee2016MehFirst off, Bill Cosby is a disgusting and deplorable human being. That’s something that’s not debatable and he should be in jail. The final bonus episode was extremely annoying and couldn’t get through it. I can’t help but think this podcast only focused on and gave voice to certain victims. I is Didn't like how the host discussed the race portion of this by only speaking on Cosby’s wife comparing him to Emmett Till. That was a terrible comparison because it’s just not even on the same scale. I read an article about Cosby’s wife and she did not mean it the way the narrator explained. The way race played into this is very nuanced and it did definitely played a role in some sense. The narrator overall did a poor job in handling that part.

nikimouse123One critical mistakeThis is a well-reported podcast. I’d recommend it to anyone. HOWEVER, the ads are ridiculously tone-deaf. Whomever’s responsible for selecting sponsors messed up. Repeatedly playing ads for wine, while revealing the tragic stories of women being drugged with wine, is not okay. You’re better than this, L. A.Times.

Roxpaulrequired listeningPre, mid and post ME TOO this must be a requirement for everyone especially those that ask what was she wearing. I ask what man feels consent is involved when you feel the need to DRUG your “consenting” partner.

Tpm985This was an A podcastI think that in this day and are, there are a lot of amateurs (that’st he nicest word I can use) who are either having someone tell a fake story or they’r embellishing on the facts to try and spin a better story. It makes me kind of sick. So when I see someone just giving the story as it \happened, I hsve a lot of respect for people like that. This is one of those podcasts. This was a seriously graphic story and I don’t even think that they intended for it to happen like that, it’s just hte subject matter. Cosby is a really really twisted human being and I sm not saying it’s a surprise, buy it’s involving rape and I never sought out the details of individual crimes. I just cannot believe this guy had 2 prosecutors either on his pay roll, or doing a favor by not prosecuting him. Both of those prosecutors belong in a prison somewhere If my daughter, sister, niece, or anybody that I cared about fell victim to this creep because the prosecutor would’t take this case on, I would be out of my mind with rage. It’s really too bad that there wasn’t a way to make this into a podcast with more content, but it’s under the LA times so you know that they are not going to go very far with it since it’s not COVID. WELL DONE 10/10

YourMomIsAlwaysRightDifficult story well toldJust finished an overnight binge after discovering this podcast. I am a 53 year old Survivor. When I listen to some shows I know their hearts are in the right place but the storytelling seems pandering all the same. But this one was different. Real emotions were allowed to come from victims naturally, the reporter who broke the case stayed true to the facts but never gave up, and I finally understood the timeline of the case. Just listen. Powerful and healing.
-
co2vaWell doneJust listened to every episode. The reporting was very informative and also difficult to digest at times. Be safe out there y'all.
-
ReRe VBPowerful...This podcast shines a light on the depraved behavior of a man we all believed to be “America’s Dad,” Bill Cosby. I’m in awe of the bravery of these women, the reporting of Niki, and how this podcast shows us how we must do better to support and seek justice for those who have been victimized by those like Cosby. So well done.
-
Kate in LAPHENOMENAL. But Booze & Prescription Pill Sponsors?“Why didn’t you report this for 30 years?” asks one news anchor. Maybe because people don’t take these issues seriously?! Like whoever thought interrupting these women’s stories with ads for bulk wine and prescription pill discounts was appropriate? Such bravery deserves better.
-
LilWayne$$$!Absolutely incredible podcastThis podcast is so well done & so informative. I am disgusted at Cosby’s sick behavior towards innocent women. After listening to this podcast I actually requested my local library to remove his biography, which praises his achievements & life, from the shelves. They were happy to comply. This man needs no applause. Thank you for exposing his lies & actions on this podcast.
-
Americana en EuropaTruth colored lensThis podcast reveals the truth about “America’s Dad”. You will never look back on your memories of Cosby’s albums, standup, television shows, or commercials the same way; you will see through a truth-colored lens.In part, Cosby’s own words convict him! The women interviewed are believable and brave. May they find healing and strength.
-
mmmsophisticatedmamaMade me a believerThe truth IS out there....and here it is.
-
Rosy_9Highly recommend!I’ve heard about the overall Bill Cosby conviction, but did not know the extent of his actions. I binged all the episodes in one day. Very well structured and I thank the women for sharing their stories.

Blucky1250RivetingI’m a true crime junkie. This podcast had me engrossed in it from the 1st episode. The combination of the victims retelling and Nikkis thorough reporting of Cosby’s crimes kept me glued to my speaker. The women and their stories were so impactful as they each wasgroomed and manipulated by a sick predator made to be untouchable. I’ll be a long fan of any podcast by Nikki !
-
GillettemmExcellentA must to listen to as we learn about the prevalence of abuse of power and use of manipulation to sexually assault women, as well the system and culture around victim shaming and believing the perpetrator.
-
cndls12345Voices of the VictimsThis podcasts shines the light in all the right places. A great series that needs to be heard.
-
CEOdomrelationsImportant workI can’t thank you enough for this podcast. Just discovered it a few days ago and this story needs to be shouted from the rooftops. I hope a docuseries is made as these women need to be heard. We are half the population who has to constantly protect ourselves from the other half. These stories are important. Thank you for your hard work and support the last 15 years. THANK YOU!
-
podman166Great ShowThanks for the info and entertainment.

BvvcnChillingI’ve always wanted to know more about this case in detail, thank you.

Well I'll just write a letterFast-paced, kept my attention, great podcast!I was in elementary school when the Cosby Show was at the height of its popularity and remember Jello Pudding Pops. That WAS my impression of Bill Cosby. I am so glad he was held accountable for his monstrous, predatory behavior and feel such sympathy for his victims. The podcast was paced exactly right, narration was excellent and obviously spot-on with research. Kudos! 5*!!
-
Electric WorryWow...just wowI knew the story...but not like this. Great job. Interviewing witnesses who hold this much sorrow and trauma is NOT easy. You could tell they trusted you. Thank you for giving them a voice. 5 stars.
-
SofSof72Excellent reportingThis is an excellent podcast with real interviews of the victims. If you grew up with Bill Cosby, it’s a must! Gives you a new light into who he really was.
-
FrancoBiddThank you...for speaking and creating space for the truth despite immense pressure, I imagine, to prevent you from doing so. You are courageous and a true professional.
-
Sarahjn77Chasing Cosby - excellent!A spellbinding podcast. So many factual details I wasn’t aware of. The wonderful voice of this podcast was so enjoyable to listen to. PLEASE make more!!! I listened to this once twice!!!
-
HaufneichExcellentThis podcast does a great job telling these women's heartbreaking stories. Some reviews here say it was one-sided. Hey dummy, the reporter only mentions one million times that she gave the rapist and his representation the opportunity to comment and they declined. In fact the majority of three or fewer star reviews are remarkably stupid and/or make it clear they did not listen
-
Marrietta SarpongChasing CosbyThis disturbing of what he did I no women deserve of sexual abuse and assault and this is show is well done justice was well served
-
Blues5522Half of a StoryI wish this podcast was not so one sided. It would have been better journalism to air other viewpoints beyond accusers testimony. The same conclusions could be drawn without being so heavy handed and narrow. The real story is likely more complex.
-
This app stank!Clean and informativeThough the context is horrific, the way you presented it so as not to cause triggers in other victims of assault, is perfect. Thank you. I can’t tell you how other shows have in depth sexual assault of a child retold by a young sounding person, feels a lot like ear child pornography and should be illegal. Here you dignify each victim instead of re-victimize them. I also appreciate the panel on the last episode. I cried when I heard the women discuss that the brutal honesty of how what sexual predators do, destroys entire families for generations, with their selfish actions. That hit home so much. We all try best everyday to live above the haunting past of systemic sexual abuse, and the scars are written all over mankind regardless if they were direct victims or not. I see how this goes all the way back to Adam and Eve when God prophesied that man will dominate women Genesis 3:16 and man will harm man Ecclesiastes 8:9. I look forward to the time when this suffering will end. It is a tear in each victim’s heart and it must stop soon! It will stop soon according to prophesies in Revelation 21:4, 22:20. I am happy that all of these brave women came forward. And for those who died with their secret, died because of their secret, or stayed silent to avoid the revictimization, please know there is someone who knows your story, who saw everything happen, and promises justice for you. Romans 12:19.
