    Ben Shapiro interview
Rarely do I get to hear good followed up by long form answers. Shapiro is a brilliant guy and Chris just let him talk fairly germane questions.

    Great guests
But I struggle to listen because the host is possibly even more boring than Lex Friedman

    Listening in the Zone
Iā€™m a Journalism school grad (please, donā€™t pelt me with rotten vegetables), and Chris Williamson is one of the finest practitioners of the craft. Informed, voraciously curious, well read, well prepared, willing to challenge his guests without becoming confrontational, willing to share his own perspective and experiences. Perhaps most important to me during these days of inflamed rhetoric, Chris is calm. Iā€™ve been listening to him nonstop as I renovate my home, and his conversations make even painting a ceiling tolerable. Thanks, Chris, please keep it up!

    Episodes with Hormozi are legendary.
Convos between Chris and Hormozi are my favorite ones on the internet. Thank you!

The good kind of celebrity we should look up to.
Such a great show. Chris is fun and a constant learner. What I wish we all tried to be a bit more of. It really matters who we look up to. Chris and his guests fit that role.

Excellent conversation. Abortion, when does a fetus react to stimulus that would inflict pain? At that point it moves from the womanā€™s body rights and where the fetus has rights to be considered. Both complete ban or unrestricted are causing harm to a human life.

Hormozi and Rudyard Lynch in the same week?!
I'm gagged! Seeing Rudyard Lynch AND Alex Hormozi in the same week?! This is brilliant! Chris is delivering HARD and delivering is the... Modern Wisdom to develop our minds, knowledge, bodies and life into real thriving. Super grateful for this podcast and Chris's work. highly recommend.

If youā€™re going to platform conspiracy theorists, at least ask them good questions. Your interview skills are pathetic.

This is a bad faith podcast.
The interview with Tulsi Gabbard is wildly irresponsible. Chris allows Tulsi to vomit blatant falsehoods for 90 minutes, with no pushback or challenge. Tulsi sure knows a lot about the ā€œDeep Stateā€, but apparently doesnā€™t know what the coconut memes are all about and certainly doesnā€™t know anything about 2025! There is no wisdom here. Chris is a washed up manosphere parasite

    2020 bro ideas
Tried this pod for a long time, sometimes has gems, but have to wade through a constant posture of reframing right-wing ideas. Very 2020. Juice isnā€™t worth the squeeze.

    Emergency podcast with kennedy
WOW if Kennedy wants to be in Trumps military he better start learning Russian, Chinese, and Korean. The languages of Trumps favorite dictators. The Justice Department and Homeland Security were trashed under the Trump administration.

Great variety of topics and perspectives
As a bro science enthusiast, this is the most in depth and meaningful podcast that covers topics pertinent to society and our well being. Iā€™m really grateful for Chris and the guests heā€™s brought on. Some of their ideas have legitimately changed my life for the better.

    Intelligent and funny
Chris is a dreamy Brit who interviews a wide range of guests. The interviews are usually lighthearted and fun. Give Modern Wisdom a try and youā€™ll subscribe.

    Loving it!
I was pretty moved by the episode with Robin Sharma. A lot of gold in that episode. Chris is a fantastic interviewer and very enjoyable to listen to. Thank you for doing good work well.

    Happy to have found it
New listener here and wishing I had found Chris YEARS ago I tell all my girlfriends who ā€œdonā€™t get into podcastsā€ that this one is different. Thanks for the great content

    Excellent
I have heard of this podcast for a year or two now but never gave it a try. I was looking for more modern issues to dive into and this was a gold mine of a find for me. The host is amazing and very neutral/ objective on issues discussed. I also love his ā€œcurrentā€ tone and demeanor. He shows that you can cuss and express yourself more freely and still be an incredibly knowledgeable and respectable person today. I give this podcast a 5 star review for sure and recommend it to friends.

    Better options
Heā€™s a good host with some awesome guests. But I think it comes off as someone who really doesnā€™t have much education or knowledge in the topics heā€™s covering. Goes pretty far off the deep end in some topics which I donā€™t think is helpful for public knowledge and staying focused on the big important topics instead of ā€œmajoring in the minorā€ as Peter Attia would say

    5 stars
Insightful podcast with a variety of modern day hot topics. Iā€™ve loved seeing not only the growth of the podcast but also the creator. Iā€™ve enjoyed listening to a male perspective on these topics.

    A Friend We All Want
Ya know those friends you have (or really wish you had) that you can bring your ideas too, the friend who thinks alongside you, sees your mind as just as interesting a place as you do? This is Chris, except he canā€™t actually hear you yet somehow reads your mind and produces EXCELLENT content about things youā€™re already thinking about, or realize you want to be thinking about. Just a great human. 11/10 would work hard to keep in my life. So far itā€™s been as easy as a ā€˜+ā€™

For us living in places with less than optimal service, I canā€™t tell you how glitchy this thing is EVEN when trying to just listen to the audio and keeping my phone locked with the screen off. Please, make an audio only feed!

Jordon Peterson and Mohamedou Ould Slahi interview was great
Man. The interview with Mohamedou Ould Slahi was one of the best podcasts Iā€™ve heard in ten years. Hands down. And the fact that you let him speak. Let him build the story. Incredible. Please have him back in a few years so we can hear how his life is progressing and the good deeds he is working on. Two of my favorite creators on one podcast. Good conversation. I wish I was there with a couple of beers in hand!

    Love This Podcast!
Just listed to the episode with Dr. Rhonda Patrick. This contained so much great information and I loved that the host asked her ā€œmere mortalā€ questions to help break it down for us even further. He has a great broad perspective and is conscious of his listeners.

    Dont listen to negative reviews
Those who appear overly critical of this podcast are either upset that the guests do not affirm their preexisting beliefs, or they suffer from impostor syndrome and like to pretend that Chris is somehow undeserving of the platform he has created. These podcasts offer incredible insights and are beneficial to listen to during commutes or morning and evening routines. There are infinitely worse things one could expose their mind to throughout the day; it's much better to engage with intellectually stimulating conversations.
  • Jeff.Bernard
    Vacuous
Way too much pontificating from a guy who hasnā€™t had much to overcome. His backstory is pretty light and his interview style is to talk too much. He is a low budget Rich Roll. Also, he literally quotes Alex Hormozi every single episode. There are a few good interviews and he gets a lot of interesting people but you can find those same people with better interviewers.

    Interview with Dr. Rhonda Patrick
She recommends bacon??! Steak??? With all of the research on the deleterious effect of red meat and sodium nitrates on health?? Not a great nutritionist in my mind.
