I’m so skeptical of podcasts and YouTube videos nowadays so it was refreshing to find a good listen. I searched specifically for an episode on scripting because I’m thinking of working on scripting or outlining videos in future, and yours was the first to come up. The reminder I really needed was that I need to keep practicing. In a world where people seem to garner success so easily, I had forgotten the practice element. Overall, I love how straightforward and honest this scripting v improv episode was.

Tom is super helpful and thorough in his explanations. I started a podcast a year ago and wish I would found out about him back then. But better late than never. Thanks Tom!

You can tell that Tom puts a lot of time and effort into his content - which makes him very appealing for people who are experienced in the audio/video world. However, what I find extremely helpful is that he’s also able to make his content accessible to an absolute beginner as well. His welcoming tone and good nature make this podcast (and his YouTube channel) a fantastic resource for anyone interested in podcasting, video production or just looking to level up their online presence during meetings. And shout out to his wife, Heather, who also makes an appearance on the show. It’s so awesome to have a female voice and perspective in this space! Thank you!!!

I found Tom on YouTube a few years back when I was upgrading my studio and have been a loyal follower ever since. Now I’m on to binging up the podcast. Keep up the great work Tom. Mark from CASEWATCH.

I wanted to like this podcast as I’ve enjoyed Tom’s chats with the Buzzsprout crew. However, I turned on his episode that was supposed to be about his channel analytics, but half the episode was about microphone comparisons. This podcast is the first I’ve ever listened to at 1.5x speed and I was still unable to make it to the end because of all the irrelevant filler. Perhaps Tom could do a future episode titled “Your podcast shouldn’t be 55 minutes if you only have 15 minutes of content.”

I found Tom’s YouTube channel after falling down the rabbit hole of YouTube while watching videos about different cameras and microphones. I liked his presentation. I liked his dad jokes, and I appreciated that he also was a teacher. I came to his podcast and I found the same Tom but different content and that is way okay with me. Tom is like that colleague you would make jokes with at the staff meeting while the principal is droning on about something. Tom is, as the kids would say, the homey. This podcast delivers on his promises and does so in a friendly and thought out way. High quality production as always.

I just love the natural goodness that this podcast spews. Tom makes me think and take a different approach to content creating! This best
