I have listened many times to Season 4 in particular. So much to contemplate.

I don’t often write podcast reviews but I’ve loved these in depth profiles and exploration of non attachment theory. Highly recommend

I’ve never written a review of a podcast before but needed to for this wonderful series! I loved all three season but I think that seasons 2 and 3 are truly phenomenal! Each episode is filled with insight and wisdom that connect the dharma to our daily experience. Even if you aren’t super interested in Buddhism, the teachings of the Buddha, or art, there is something to consider in every episode. I found myself thinking about how the themes are present in my own life long after I finished each episode. I cannot stop recommending this podcast to my friends and everyone who I meet who listens to podcasts. I’ve started making my way through the Rubin’s Mindfulness Meditation podcast while I eagerly wait for Awaken season 4!

The content hooked me & I adore the Rubin, but I’m after more awakening, less wokeness. Plus, baby voice.

My wife and I really enjoy listening to the different perspectives the various people have and the variety of topics covered in spirituality. We’ve also been to the Rubin Museum several times (the last time, just a few weeks ago). The exhibits and gift shop are unique and very inspiring. Please keep contributing!!

How I try to view myself, to how I work in my own progression of my truth. I’ve only listened to the fist 4 episodes, but so far they are very inspiring and comforting. I love the creative/ spiritual perspective each guest shares. As I listen I am learning, I am healing, and my perspective is expanding.

Just when I was feeling low and lost, I decided to listen to Awaken. Every episode is full of wisdom and hope. And Laurie’s voice is like a warm hug. Just what my soul needed!

I feel heaps of gratitude for this show. The tone and vibe are perfect. The music, Laurie Anderson’s posture, the premise, the open-endedness. In the second episode, Alok talks about being compelled to share work that they think are beautiful. If you like this show, share it.

Having only listened to 2 episodes, I made myself stop because I will be so sad when it ends. The first episode on anxiety was extremely personal as a close family member is struggling with anxiety. Then Alok is a mind blowing genius. I just kept saying oh my goodness over and over again. I keep thinking of friends who would love this, which is basically everyone I know. I can't wait for Tara on self love as a healing practice.

This is a wonderful podcast with relatable stories for all. This is where we can all learn how to get on our pathway to spiritual growth, and openness to what is possible in this beautiful life.

Beautiful, engaging and inspiring chats from a kaleidoscope of artist and practitioners. I think this is so cool that with this exhibit one can appreciate Buddhist inspired art virtually, audible as well as in person. Kudos to the curator for expanding the way we can appreciate art and artist. Thank you Rubin Museum.

The path to enlightenment explored

This is the second podcast I’ve enjoyed. I’ve found it to be a great facilitator for though and exploration and I can’t wait to go see the exhibit at the Rubin on my birthday!

Only four episodes so far, but each one has been insightful and thought provoking. If you’re tired of podcasts that shout at you, this one wraps itself around you like a familiar friend. There is a grace and humanity to each guest as they unfold their stories, which I have found connect to my own.

I decided to take up meditation during my COVID quarantine and have found myself thinking more and more about enlightenment, so when I came across this podcast I knew I had to give it a listen. And boy have I not been disappointed! The first two installments of Awaken were very impressive. Laurie Anderson and the stories she elicits from her guests do a great job of surfacing the many curious little ways that our lives may be changed. Food for thought as I continue on my own path towards broadening my awareness. Definitely looking forward to the episodes to come! Would recommend this to anyone who has an interest in anything.
