I’m such a huge fan of all things FFoZ- but, of the topic of Biblical Chanukah: Aaron Eby kept making the comments a few times that the Bible (specifically the Christian Epistles) does not have anything about it “except the Catholic Bibles” - but the Christian versions DO have Yeshua in The Temple - Jn. 10:22…. "Jesus at the Feast of Dedication: “John 10:22 Then came the feast of the Dedication55 in Jerusalem. 23 It was winter, and Jesus was walking in the temple area in Solomon’s Portico.” " "Rebbe, Melech HaMoshiach and Channukah: “22 Then the Chag (Festival) of Channukah took place in Yerushalayim. I love Messiah podcast! They have incredible insights on many theological topics. I don’t think I’ve missed a teaching! If you are looking for some new, deeper insights to our Jewish Messiah, Yeshua of Nazareth, and understanding our Jewish book, the Bible, you need to give these guys a listen! I love the team! I love the podcasts, very good topics with a Messianic Jewish perspective

I have been influenced by the ministry of First Fruits of Zion since 2016. Many of my theological conundrums have been squelched by their teaching. When I learned of this podcast I was immediately elated and had one of those moments of knowing the timing for it was perfect. FFOZ is a “Kingdom first” ministry. As far as I’ve noticed, egos are brought low for the sake of truth in this ministry and this is a practice that is evident in all of their material including this podcast. If you are new to Christianity, having a proper foundation for your faith is imperative, crucial even, and FFOZ is dedicated to ensuring that. Having an understanding of the difference between the “kingdom” modern Christianity preaches as opposed to the true kingdom that Jesus/Yeshua proclaimed in the first century will establish the aim of your faith. May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of Israel and Father of our Messiah Yeshua be glorified through this ministry. Amen!

I was stoked when I heard FFOZ was making an ongoing podcast series. Damian and Ruben are great, and I can’t wait to see where they take the podcast.

This podcast has a freshness long missing in those who seek to understand Jesus better and desire to learn as disciples of Jesus. Learning that Jesus was and is still Jewish did change my perspective on what it means to follow the Master and what he practiced and taught the early church leaders. I have enjoyed the depths of discussions of each of them.

I really enjoy the format of this podcast. The interviewers and interviewees are easy to listen to. You feel like you are sitting in the room with them and having a nice conversation that is very interesting regarding the Jewishness of Jesus and other interesting topics of faith and life.

This Messianic millennial has been a fan of FFOZ for over 8 years. Literally the best Messianic teaching out there. Needless to say I was so excited to hear about the new podcast. This is perfect for my work commute.

I’m thrilled that an already excellent publication, Messiah Magazine, is getting a podcast! Already the conversations are leaving a mark in the Messianic world. The hosts are likeable, and I feel like I’m in the room with some of the forerunners of messianic Jewish thought.

The First Fruits of Zion team continues to deliver interesting, challenging, relevant, and inspiring content. I’ve wished that FFOZ would put out a podcast for years and its great to see the team come together and enter the podcasting world with flare. Joshua Aaron’s music provides a great theme track for the show. I look forward to hearing the future discussions they have with scholars and Biblical thinkers that are working together to connect and grow the Messianic Jewish movement.

The statement that struck me in this episode is when Jacob mentions “the Five Solae direct a person right to Protestant Christianity as its only destination.” If that is in contrast to biblical truth and context the “Houston, we have a problem!” Ben Gorton Rochester NY

I've found FFOZ about 5 years ago, starting with Haysod, dived into other teaching offered, been in the Torah club for the last 3 years with the last year leading my own club. I've enjoyed learning about our Jewish Messiah and the historical content! I love knowing I can trust the teaching from a reliable source and have another podcast I can look forward to while at the gym!
