Welcome to the RunwithKat Show! A running podcast that centers around helping you run happy, healthy, and strong. Im Kat! Physical Therapist, Personal Trainer, Run Coach, and most importantly runner. For over 10 years now, running has been one of the biggest constants in my life, and my goal is that it becomes the same for you. As a physical therapist, one of my foundational core values is that movement is medicine, which is why I am extremely passionate about keeping runners healthy. This podcast was created with the intent to provide all of you runners out there with the proper knowledge on how to be the healthiest and fastest runner you can be, while never losing sight of running for pure  enjoyment for the sport. My mission is to help you do the thing you love the most as long as possible, and bring out the best runner and person you were born to be.  This show is  fun, informative, and centered around all things running related. Every week, I interview running experts AND inspirational runners just like you who work everyday to be a little better than yesterday. Whether you’re a beginner runner or a marathon veteran, stay tuned every Monday and bring out the best runner in you!

    Great podcast!
    I just found Kat’s podcast a couple weeks ago and I’m really loving it! She is very knowledgeable and the topics she covers are not only interesting and informative but also unique. I have been waiting all year for a host of a running podcast to cover runners with chronic illness since there are tons of episodes on injury but not the population of runners that have no recovery plan and will struggle the rest of their life in some cases. I’m looking forward to more great content and episodes !!

    kat asks relevant questions and puts this information out in a way that makes it readily applicable. she has an amazing amount of knowledge on training and rehabbing runners. such a good show!

    I started to listen to this podcast training for my first marathon as a runner who is middle aged, leads a busy working mom life and a woman with significant chronic back injuries. Her focus as a PT on remaining healthy is both helpful and refreshing. The information provided in the discussions with her various expert guests was essential to me crossing the nyc marathon finish line healthy and strong. Her podcast was also simply fun to listen to!

    If you’re searching for a running podcast this is the podcast for you. After lots of searching myself, I finally found the RunwithKat Show and have learned so much from it. This is the one stop podcast that covers all things running from injuries, to nutrition, to types of running workouts, to programming, to mindset, and everything in between. What is special about Dr. Kat is that she is a runner herself with lots of education to validate her shows. She is a practicing physical therapist, a run coach, and most importantly a runner. She uses her background to inform everyday runners at any level to help improve their mindset and practice. I love that she always has other experts guests on her show. Even though Dr. Kat is highly educated, she is constantly uses every opportunity to learn more taking notes from experts in other areas. Great job coach Kat!

    I’ve been running for years but started to really get into racing recently… and Dr. Kat helped me by providing information and professional advice on how to safely and effectively improve my running! She always breaks every topic down so it’s easy to learn and follow along. I highly recommend this podcast it’s super fun to listen to for anyone whose into running!

    This year, I started to take running more seriously. I ran my first half marathon in June and my only wish is that I had discovered Kat’s podcast when I was training for it!! I truly believe that my running has improved just after listening to her podcast and following her Instagram. On the Internet there are a lot of people who claim that they know the best ways to become a better runner, and it’s difficult to know who you can trust. And, because I am an occupational therapist, I really value research and science. Kat’s podcast & her Instagram are my number one resources for running precisely because she does her research, she is a runner herself, and because she is a physical therapist. She really knows her stuff, and I also think it’s really valuable that she brings guests on her show that come from a variety of specialties. And to top it all off — sometimes long runs get really boring with just music, so why not put on her podcast just to switch it up!!

    I have been training with Kat for a few months now and she is an excellent trainer/coach/motivator!! I always hated running growing up and she has made it fun and enjoyable. She’s helped me get in to great shape and this podcast just takes her lessons and philosophies and brings them to light. I would 100% recommend this podcast to anyone if you’re a runner or someone who hates running like I did!

    Kat is an advocate for runners and strives to push the boundaries of understanding within Physical Therapy and injury prevention and rehabilitation for runners. It is evident that Kat is passionate about running and helping runners stay healthy, mentally and physically. You can tell that Kat loves to learn and provides valuable information in her podcast. As a runner myself, this podcast has been valuable in my own learning and how I can be a better Athletic Trainer to my xc/track and field athletes who may be experiencing running injuries. If Kat worked in my area, I would definitely send my athletes to her! The guests she has on are knowledgeable and you can really understand Kat’s eagerness to learn and understand. 10/10 recommend 🏃🏼‍♀️
