    Fabulous podcast
I found this podcast accidentally and it’s just the best. Laura and Iain do a great job covering historical true crime and more current stuff. Iain’s American accents are hilarious. They are legends .

    FUN
Love this genre of true crime - quirky, funny, true crime stories I’ve never heard before, and I listen to a LOT of true crime podcasts. I listened to a couple of the newest episodes to see if I liked it, and I’m obsessed! So, now starting from the beginning of Iain and Laura’s podcast. Listening from Minneapolis, Minnesota USA. Please don’t stop recording, you’re perfect together for this rare and unique and fun sub-genre of true crime.

    Previously… on True Crime Island
I love Love Islane and I am obsessed with true crime - I feel like Laura and Iain were listening to my dreams and out popped this podcast. I appreciate the variety - it’s not all murder, there are also heists! - and the chemistry and banter between these two makes it as lighthearted as a show about true crime can be. 10/10!

    So good!
Laura has such a great storytelling voice and the banter is always hilarious. Iain and Laura have great chemistry which makes sense because they’re married but it doesn’t detract from the subject matter which I feel is always handled with the respect that should be commonplace for True Crime media.

    Made it 3 minutes
I could tell this is a podcast where the host are more interested in hearing the sound of their own voices. The banter and the chatter is so annoying to me. I stopped my run to find a podcast where the story was the focus not the host.

    Obsessed
I just found this podcast today and I love it so much. They could read from the dictionary and I’d listen to every episode. Lots of stories I haven’t heard of before which is awesome!

    Great banter with heart
I’m only a few episodes in but I am hooked! I got a video recommended to me that suggested this podcast, and when I came to the show page, I saw some pretty bad reviews, but since I’m a big fan of Iain, I still gave it a go, and I’m so glad I did! The dynamic of Laura and Iain is so great, getting a little more insight into their personalities outside of how I know them from media and such is fun, and their storytelling abilities are stellar! Typically I don’t like podcasts with the like “produced soundscapes” if you will, but I think this one is tastefully done, and not too cheesy or intrusive. When I say with heart , they so far have done a great job on shining a light on the bright moments when possible. Like telling how a survivor went on to do great things and help other survivors and such. I don’t often write reviews, but I needed to throw a positive one out there because I really think you should give this one a go! Cheers Iain and Laura!🧡

The hosts are a no go
I wanted to like this but after literally 10 minutes in I had to turn it off. The hosts were too annoying to listen to. I don’t expect everything to be serious and dry but I definitely can’t listen to a true crime story when the hosts act like this

    Ugh
I couldn’t even get through the first 5 minutes. The hosts are irritating. Topic is good so maybe I’ll speed through them talking to the substance
